iTiD Consulting, Ltd. was founded as a collective effort of ISID, a leader of digitalization of product development, and ITI, a supporter of development process innovation of global companies.
ISID has been providing engineering support to Japanese manufacturing companies since 1982, since the start of the CAE business, to introduce and leverage software for CAE/CAD/CAM, and PDM. ISID started engineering consulting in 1995, and now has more than 150 projects a year. ISID and ITI first tied up in 1991, together to provide software to support data exchange between different CAE/CAD/CAM/PDM systems as well as ITI' s consulting and engineering services.
ITI was founded in 1983 by Dr. Lemon, well known as a father of mechanical CAE. ITI provides consultation using 'CP/PD' (Concurrent Product / manufacturing Process Development) methodology to accurately capture market needs and to introduce outstanding products in shorter periods and with less resources by concurrent engineering, as well as other engineering solutions as required. CP/PD has been supported by many leading-companies worldwide.
iTiD Consulting, Ltd. was established by the collective effort of these two companies.
